You can turn usb charging off, of course - menu > settings > connectivity > USB > USB connection (must have the cable connected when you do this)
The manual sais it is recommended to fully charge the battery before the first use, yes.
Rian Really light weight handset however feels very flimsy, impressive built in themes however vodafone software kinda ruins it.
Unless you are a huge user of 3G, it would probably be smarter to get the W810 or if you are a bit short of cash try a W800 (be weary of the joystick on the w800 though)
Dreadnought Quite nice looking considering itīs a SE. But why no Ir? No EDGE, no autofocus, maybe they are trying to boost K800 sales this way?

zanpo hy, i just got this phone and i really like it, just one problem, anyone knows if i can stop it charging when i connect the usb cable? i'm afraid this might shorten the battery life.and does the battery need to be formatted for 12 hours to reach its maximum efficiency?

Dicky Don't bother getting one i have had 2 faulty one's then vodafone sent me a third a referb in poor condition. had to make about 20 calls to voda to sort it out. dont get one of these phones in fact dont use vodaphone.
