While I agree that it would probably be a good combination for both the cybershot and walkman features on one phone, I doubt SE will be combining the two any time soon. Each one is targeting to different groups of people. Also, the combination of the two features would probably cause SE to raise the price significantly on such a phone.

While you do have a point with the lens cover, which has already been pointed out in at least one of the preview articles I read about the K800/K790, the issue with phone could be software related.
Try updating the firmware.
I would say if that doesn't work, try exchanging it, even if you don't get your money back, it could be an issue with this specific phone, so getting another K790 might fix it.
So far, every other review by individuals I have read, including company reviews, like GSMArena, hasn't brought up any kind of issue like this on the K800 and K790.
DX Please I really am looking forward to buying this phone always have been a great fan o the K series especially the 7 series cos I believe they have the best camera's in the market no doubt. PLS CUD ANYONE TELL ME THE SIZE OF THE MEMORY CARD THAT COMES WITH THE K790

Yes it comes with 64mb memory. I got it too.Please set the photo resolution to 3M and click. It may hang, if it does then you too got a defective piece like me. All the best.

*if you ever saw pictures of K800 beaten by N73/n93(as most people implies) here in gsmarena or mobile-review.com and many many web sites, look at these website which was posted august 12, 2006(as the date implies, firmwares of all this devices are in final already) taken by a photographer from Fotomobieltje.nl,,,

but NEWAY:
the pictures will no show prototype versions as it is posted already after it is released... the pictures taken by N73 here and that site shows what image experts(maybe) and me says:
N73 has too high sharpness so it makes unreal photos while K800 has unusual smooth photos but excels much in color than nokia:

this is also a review from a mobile photography site so don't wonder pictures are NOT Fake...
Ahsan Suleman @T , i ve used a variety of nokias up to N73 till now 6233 in Series 40 has the best sound in loudness but to me SE always has better equipped with sound effects no doubt k790/800 have lower volume in speakers but its not meant to be, take most Walkmans except w800 all have better in speakers as well , u can email me your questions
