Siemens MC60 Cell Phone Reviews

Mape In looks, it's a cool phone, i like it, but the way it works could be better, th ecamera has very bad resolution and takes forever to think and do an operation.
I think it depends on the operator too, it's almost a year i have it, and problems keep appearing, so, i'm changing my phone. Sorry to tell you this.

Nathan AWFUL PHONE! EVERYTHING ON IT IS BAD! Im lucky i didnt buy this crappy piece of sh1t. I had 2 decide this over a 3200 and im glad that i went with a 3200...but 3200's arent that great but theyre better than the mc60. my friend bought one a few months back and was even complaning about the camera resolution and the low volume of the ring tones.

DONT BUY IT....

josh. f. worst phone i have ever owned. the nokia 3315 is better than this crap. i accidently dropped this phone off my bed onto a skateboard and the whole screen caved in.weak. the camera is shocking and the whole phone is confuzing and useless. dont buy this phone, if you do, you will definently regret it.

steph a good little phone for the first time user, but after a while the keys stick, ive had mine a 6months and it has just started switching off by its self.the ringtones are terrible and camera is grainy.
possitivly hate the ringtones.

Alex Acosta Ive had this phone for a few days now and i can tell you that it isnt as bad as everyone is making it out to be. My old phone was a Motorola C650 with a 65K colour screen and a 120 X 120 screen resolution and the MC60 screen is only 101 X 80 with only 4096 colours and it is still brighter and more colourfull than th C650. Good ringtones. If you want a cheap phone go ahead and buy it. Ill like to see you find a cheaper camera phone!!!

Abuhzain Worst phone in the whole world. I lost mine in a show and I never felt more thankfully for the guy that didn't gave me back this junk. I bought a Sony Ericsson much better for the same price.

james i had dis phone for about 1 1/2 years and it is not that bad the only bad thing is the camra

<unknown> I used to have this phone. I dosen't have GREAT picture quality or video and recording your own ringtones dosen't work well enough cos recording is too short...

nabo this is one of the best phone i have ever seen, rally cool looking. good brand too. if you have you are lucky

Adam This phone is pretty poor in some important ways but good in others...

I've followed the instructions for setting up with O2 UK and it's not right

For a start Java applets will not download. Ever. You set off the download and it's like "Please wait" with a bargraph that never moves, you also conveniently get a 0 byte file with the name of what you were trying to download.

MMS doesn't work, despite my setting the options exactly, just get a network failure whenever I try, can't get dialup WAP via 91500 to work (it has GPRS which works but I get 300 minuts of dialup WAP and 1MB of GPRS WAP per month so I'd like to use the minutes for large downloads)

The camera is 352x288 but I don't see why people are complaining as an MMS is only 120x160 if I remember rightly so 352x288 is more than adequate, the battery has been fine too despite me doing things I shouldn't with it like leaving it on charge for weeks at a time, the display itself is nice enough, the resolution isn't huge but it's fine, colours are bright etc.

One really nice feature of this phone is that you can just draw your own logos, startup, shutdown etc. You can also make the SP logo a 1px by 1px transparent gif so it goes away. and it'll handle normal midi tones as ringtones so I was able to get a nice final fantasyish theme on this phoen by drawing four images (startup, shutdown, background, screensaver) and the 1 pixel sp one and uploading them to some webspace I have, go to it with gprs and it downloads them fine, a lot cheaper than paying for ringtones and I get the Final Fantasy 2 music (Check FF:DoS title music on GBA)

The phone itself was a good price, I got mine for around £35 (US$61.25) which isn't bad for all those features, no contract either, the case quality sucks but you can get replacements on ebay for something like 3 quid ($5ish) including postage so who cares

All in all if you dont' want to spend a fortune and the Java download/MMS issues can be sorted this would be a good phone for students/schoolkids etc. not too expensive to replace if it walks/gets broken and quite a bit of functionality.

Wow, wrote more than I intended there, if anyone can help with my java download issue email me please :p

Peace
