Kevin hey guy this phone is great the only thing bad on this phone is that its a little big. lol and how to make the mp3 like ringtone: simple u have to record the desidered music like video the normal and than u go on set the ringtone, now select data folder than video and than the music than u just recordet. now whith this method u have all kind of sounds or music for ringtone,smstone,alarm or watever. enjoy this guys.

pinoy I think this fone can be unlocked for the reason that it is from japan but maybe there will be software soon just wait!! my bro. brought my v801sh to greenhills, the techinician text him.
Muso Hmmm...not sure if it's the handset, the media card or the Panasonic Jukebox writer kit for it...but...I just can't get the handset to read the music files I'm burning onto the media card.
Thought it was initially a case of it just reads MP3 and not WMA and WAV...but...even after converting some files (checked and readable on the PC as MP3) the handset still states that there are no files to read/play?
Any thoughts?

<unknown> There's no way to unlock the V801SH. It's not like the 902 European model that just came out easily able to unlock. I have two V801SH and believe me there's no way to unlock this phone. I think it's way better than the new 902's, 802's etc. They are way better in fuction wise.
