Sorry to say but we're stuck with the 10 pre set message tones, but IMHO that shouldn't bother you too much, it still is a GREAT phone! :-D Oh by the way, how many phones out there has that VIVID message feature huh? :-D
<unknown> Yes you can set mp3 as a ringtone. I agree that the D900 has a bigger screen and better image and video capture abilities, but it costs way too much money extra for these settings. I'd rather have bought a cheap digital camera which, no doubt, will take better pictures. But no use crying over spilt milk. Might as well enjoy the thing for what it's worth.
slidefone ghost Hi, I need a bit of help concerning the d900.
I currently have the e900 and its actually a nice fone. The only thing that dissapoints me is that it can only take a video clip to a certain amount of memory. Im thinking
about trading my e900 in for a d900 but people say that its battery life stinks, its volume is jacked up and it cant take an hour video clipping ( like the d600 )
What i like about my e900 is that it has about a week's battery life.( depending how much u use it)For a time i didnt use it that much so my battery lasted 10 days.
I love the d900 design and camera but is it worth the battery problem and volume?
Love to get some DECENT answers, not some !@#$%^ that some people post!

<unknown> D900 and transflash: Trying to figure this out. Is it best to think of the microSD as offline storage? That's to say it is not directly available to the phone; any data that is on it (microsd) needs to be moved to the phone's builtin memory to be available to the phone's features?
Second ? is the only way to get data to the card with a standalone usb card reader?
mbm4ever how can i turn of the keypad tones? i tried goin to sound settings n to keypad tones but its greyd out, the sounds get anoyying after a while expecially wen u textinggg!!.. plz helppp
