jeremy where can i find a cheap price here in the philippines?it still costs $362.00 (P18,500.00) in most stores..il just add $30.00 and i can buy a nokia N70..i think this phone should not cost more than $300.00..price should be comparable to Nokia 6681 (non-3g symbian) though its symbian version is already 8.0 but samsung hardware is much better..

I was a bit confused just like you, but then I bought mine from plemix's ebay store and they shipped it from Hingkong the next day.got it in 2 days.
However when I was having trouble with my phone they didnt bother to answer back.
HO@HK I would like to ask if D720 has the ring+vibrate function like D820???I will get D720 instead of D820 if it has this function

Kal This is the 2nd time that my D720 turned itself off without any reason even when I had 2-3 bars battery.
I had to Remove the battery and put it back to turn it on.
Does that happen to anyone?

I did the measurement and here is the result:
Width 30mm (note its not 29mm) and height 36mm.
Diagonally its little less than 1.9"..safe to say 1.8".
The screen is protected under a glass surface which is actually measured at 36x44mm. That leaves plenty of spaces and may be thats the reason it looks smaller. Samsung could fit in a 2" screen here. I have seen same design under different model name in korea with 2" 320x240 resolution screen.

Kal Records .3gp in 352x288, 176x144 and 128x96 resolution. Frame rate is low for 352x288.Quality is not as good as CIF MPEG4.
Plays .3gp, .mp3, .mp4, .arm, .rm, .ram, .ra and .rv files.
Pictures can be seen in fullscreen by pressing "7", can be rotated to view in landscape mode.
Howevere video doesnt have fullscreen or landscape option. Same thing happens while taking picture or video. No landscpae or fullscreen.

I had the same issue with T-mobile USA and talked to a CSR for over an hour, no luck. Finally I solved the problem.
Go to Nokia site and order MMS settings for T-mobile UK. Select model 6670/7610, type ur phone number. D720 uses exact same settings as of Nokia 6670 and 7610. You will get the settings in SMS. Punch in the code from the site. And that's it. Mine is working fine now.

james tnx kal..but it would be more helpful if u cud tel d actual physical size of d display (is it really 29X36mm)..by d looks of it, it cant be 1.9" diagonally..samsung's D500 is a lot bigger and it's only 1.8"..hope u can really measure d width & d leghth of d display (in mm)& tell it to us..tnx again...
melkydude Guys, does anybody know how to perform hard reset on a turned off D720? combination of buttons "Call" "*" "3" and "on/off" doesn't work. If you can provide me a right combination, I'll send you 2 CDs with soft, themes and ringtones for this smartphone
