maseko I think it will be the best windows mobile phone in the market on the end of 2005. O2 Asia confirm to release this model on late Nov, 2005. Hopefully I can get one in Indonesia as well. Great phone to substitute my old Siemens S45.

I want to buy it, but i am not convinced yet. Please help me with some answers. I am used with Nokia 6680 and I like some features my phone has. Does the 8310 have :
1: an alt+tab like feature ? (easilly accesibile through a shortcut, to swing between the applications opened)
2: an alternative application for reading plain .txt files ? (I read this and i don'tlike it : "ClearVue Document: It opens documents created in Microsoft Word. Unfortunately, this browser is designed to show pages on the small display in the original layout, which makes the usage of the joystick inevitable. Viewing document's content as a plain text would have definitely been more practic")

man hi, where did you get your orion? i really want to get one....the only one i found is the Taiwanese Version Dopod 577w...i think that's the manufacturer's version, but it's in chinese! please help!
Tabzie I do! You can hard reset the phone by following these steps:
1. Switch phone off.
2. Hold down both left and right soft keys.
3. While holding down softkeys, hold power key for 2-3 seconds (timing critical)
4. A screen will come confirming desire to reset to default. Press '0' to do this.
If reset screen doesnt come try again. Sometimes it takes few tries but it works!
alpha very nice executive looking phone. have the latest features in the market today... but NO FM radio and 1.3megapixel cam!!!.. i will pass this up.
