O2 XDA IIi Cell Phone Reviews
prabodh chavan can some body please suggest me how to choose the corporate or personal settings.i have already hardresetted the phone but it never asks for such an option.kindly suggest at the earliest
Fatty why cant you put mp3s onto xda 2i!!why can i only listen to them on the memory card!!really sucks that does!
<unknown> yes it does suppourt 1g sd card it even suppourted my mates 4g sd card. i have the xda2i which is very very good (bar the battery life) however the atom is a minaturised version with less specs, if you want a pda deff go for the xda2i but if you prefer a smaller phone rather than a pda go for the atom, hope this helps
milkshake I have had the phone about 3 weeks and i think the phone is amazing, apart from the battery life which gets drained by power hungry aplications, but if your good at tweeking settings you can easily minimise this.
I use my home 2mb broadband on my xda2i via wifi this is amazing it browses the same full internet as my pc, even flash websites (as long as you have installed flash which you can get from the macromedia website).
when i get paid im gonna get a bluetooth gps adaptor and get myself tom tom that is also something else that this phone is good for, because if you really think about it the phone part of the xda is secondary first of all the xda is a pocket pc, if you were to get the same spec pocket pc but without the inbuilt phone it would cost you alot more. were talking over £300 pounds maybe even over £400.
If you were smart i would ignore most of the bad comments being posted as the good far surpresses the bad things in this phone (pocket pc).
didi Hi people. I juz got got my xdaIIi last week after the distributors in KL dropped the price to only RM1888. I must say dat so far it's alright but I juz pray dat it doesnt turn out like my xdaIIs which hung almost every day. Anyway, I dont there's not much difference in WM 2003 & WM2005 other than the fact dat WM2005 doesnt delete all ur data when the battery juz dies off. Bottomline is, I love my xdaIIi more than my blackberry 7290
george demetriades hey can anyone help me or if not tell me were i can find a forum that will ok heres the problem my o2 xda 2i plays mp3's and all sounds work but when i call or recieve a call i canot here anything! is it becuase of some settings or a fault in my xda?? - please help!
Shahid Hi!
I'm interested of buying a PDA phone and I like O2 XDA IIi but I want more Hard Disk (Memory) atleast 10-20 GB. Is it possible?
Can any one reply me?
With regards.
JR The feature is nice but its just a PDA not a PC..
Chris I too have suffered with the O2 XDA IIi locking up on numerous occasions, so got annoyed with it and decided to moan at O2, their tech dept semed quite up-to-sped with the beast and it's problems. I was advised that the lock-ups we in the main due to O2 Active and the way to go is run the m/c without it.So I went for it. Hard reset (off button and soft reset button together) WARNING - THIS WILL ERASE YR DATA. Re-install everything BUT when yr asked if you want corporate or Personal setup choose corporate. You'll have to input all GPS/MMS settings yourself (that's another story!) but 7 days later and no lock-ups!!
Any tips or a novice user (better filemanager prog) or anything interesting would b appreciated.
C.
