Remember Nokia 5110 or the 6210 those of us who used these phones know they are stable , can withstand a lot of abuse and have excellent battery life.
Technology has progressed but cell phones are becoming more flimsy ... battery life bad (yeah we all know that there are more applications and features) , display screens loose their lusture really fast and software crappy.
I wonder if this is a delibrate strategy by cell companies to ensure speedy product obsolence so as to ensure continued profits
Sam This is an absolute wicked fone, it has done everything iv wanted it to do.
The only thing i havnt managed to configure as yet is the internet access through ur LAN via the pop port USB cable provided.
Adobe files, txt files, .docs, .xls, and presentation files all working pretty fast.
MP3 playback is excellent but is no w800 which wat can you expect, its a dedicated fone, whereas this covers soo muany features.
i originally got this fone to sell on, but after playing with it, i have decided to keep it :-)
the security settings on the fone are such an added piece of mind as if the fone is ever stolen, you can remotly from another fone send a preconfigured (by the user) sms msg which will automatically lock the fone via a secuirty code, this should give you enough time to black list the fone with ur network provider.
The size did put me off slightly, but wen u actually hold it, you dont look as ridiculous as u think you would. ITs the smaller communicator out of the whole series which makes it a very appealing fone.
Enjoy if you have this fone, if you havnt i would recogmend it.
