Tex I've had mine for 5 years now, and it's still going strong. I hope I can still find batteries for it. The slide means u can't bump the keys accidently, the curve makes it fit well in my back pocket, and you don't have to muck around pressing keys to answer and hang up. Not to mention it feels "normal" when chatting - u actually speak into the phone.
Sarah I just got one off of ebay. its seems to work fine but cant get any signal! Doh! There's a little capital "A" in the right hand top corner instead of signal bars... any ideas?
badal The nokia 8110 is one of the top mobile phones i have ever encountered in life. But it would be better if it had the clock, alarm and date opitons. Also if its battery lasted longer then i think it woul be the number 1 phone in the world.
