Nokia 6282 Cell Phone Reviews

NokMan Believe me, once you see the screen resolution on this bad boy you will be blown away. You can't knock the phone, just the carrier. But Americans are cheap, so cingular took out the flash and lower the mega pixels to reduce cost.....its an awesome phone.

Nick To Mike:
I agree with you that this UMTS Nokia phone does not have a video call. But as you might have noticed and many people already know one simple fact: For United states we always get the lowest functional phones.

And there is no difference here, whether it's Nokia brand or Samsung or Sony. As long as it is for United States, it got to be the lowest model! We first have to wait from six months to one years before we get european models!

It's a shame but reality!
We have to deal with it!

hanaa hey pplz
dis fone is soooooo cool...even though its not out in australia...but i cn t wait till it is....its sooooooo cool...its has everything u can eva imagine!!!!!!!!!!
so yeh cnt wait!!! :):):):)

Jason Why did they even bother to bring up this phone? The Nokia 6270 and Nokia 6280 have better features and better rating. Do you know what Nokia was aiming for by making this 6282?

Cingular Rep 3g in the us on the cingular network is going to be used mainly for c-video and high internest speeds with umts. this phone has it all! awesome phone to be lunched in Feb

Kevin Thank you Mike for clearing this mess.
Now it is clear to me more than ever before that New ATT is really New. I really hope that it will improve because I want only two carriers to survive in the United States:
T-MOBILE AND NEW ATT.
Sprint and Verizon must go out of business!
I had both of them before, and only troubles with them ( call quality, billing, rude customer service)

cingular_rep JUST FYI prepaid does not have the same coverage map as postpaid. Prepaid has the bare minimum coverage by us... Meaning any roamig aggrements and new ATT coverage is not compatible with the prepaid plans. If you pick up a prepaid brochure you will see that prepaid is about 50% of our real coverage... And sorry you feel so strongly about it but hey... i think all companies will help their customer if they have issues...but since we are the largest of course we are going to have the biggest number of complain DUH! I just wanna see a business person or someone that actually depends on their phone....loose their reception over and over and i will guarantee that they will drop any carrier and go for the next one that actually works...........it is about CAN I USE MY DAMN PHONE!

marc @mike

Yes there can be 1900 twice, because Cingular's 3G network uses 1900 (and 850 later on) for their UMTS network, unlike the rest of the world that uses 2100.

<unknown> whats the point in having a 6282 upgrade to a 6280 thats worse? wierd hugh...
seriously though, y is it worse?

<unknown> Ithink thats more like Rogers wierless !upcoming phone
