I don't know how to use 6230, well I don't have the owners manual:
- What is meant by 'Activation key list' in the Phone features, how can one use it & activate it?
- How can one use the Password for the Memory card (Slot in card)? I don't know how to activate it
- Pls want to know: there's no free Application to download for 6230, make us enjoy the Phone more.
I will be very grateful if my Opinion is given immediate resonse while I'm waiting.

nooja it is wonderfull device as general but i just want to ask is it possible 2 dowenload programs 4 this phone.. & so.. is there a way 2 make it enable 2 open waves music not only mp3s music ??
pammie I have been using this phone for 6 months now. The only thing I do not understand is, my friend and I uses Nokia 6230i. But she can store 200++ smses in her inbox while I only can store about 160 smses in my inbox. Do you know why?
dominic P i really love this phone. i had it for almost one year now but unfortunately it was stolen last sept 2. im really sad since i have all my contacts, messages and pictures there and i wasnt able to back up those things. for me, this is the best and as soon as i got enough money, i'll buy this phone again eventhough theres a lot of new models in the
FrancisV. This phone was probably launched ahead of its time. Compare the features and functions and you would find it on par with today's newer Nokias.
The screen is probably the clearest among all the Nokia cellphones, but perhaps the manufacturer could have placed a bigger screen.
Mine is made in Hungary and it has a World Clock, a Translator, and my favorite games Backgammon and Golf Tour.
Pictures are clear enough to burn on CD and view on a DVD player, provided you don't take pictures indoors (as it does not have a flash).
It also doubles as my portable MP3 player, so I didn't have to buy an I-Pod to take my music along.
It's got everything I could possible want in a mobile phone. And to date I still have not found a phone at any price to replace this with.

Tuti right now i'm online using my 6230i via bluetooth. it should be the same with IR.
the number i dial (and its universal) is *99#
just make sure ur device manager in windowsn shows a modem via ir link. use that modem and dial the dialup connection.
note: access poin name should be entered in ur mobile in connection/access point1/acces point name. e.g isp.nawras.com.om .
get the apm frp, ur service provider.....

Leen Ive had the 6230i for nearly a year now.. its slow in switching to menus its only because ive got alot of things stored in my memory card.. ive had no other problems so far.. it works perfectly.. also love how u can make ur own themes!!.. im considering getting a N72 but ive never liked the bulky design of the phone.. but i reckon the 6230i is the best phone ive had.. even tho it doesnt do 3g for my personal preference i wouldnt use it if it was on it hehe.. its a great lil phone.. =)
