henry been using this cell for year plus. man...it is such a tough, reliable, sincere and loyal cell i ever had!altho yes it is just my secondary cell beside than S.E but hey...it has nvr let me down for single time!great batt life and oso darn user frenly!yes,altho it dont have all the other functionalities like any other cell has nowsday such as camera,bluetooth,infrared or bla bla bla but however, this cell has its own potential of daily usage!hey,better than u go and hunt around for public phone rite?
munu i,ve had this phone for over a year now and i must admit that this phone is quite superb but no phone is perfect. the problem with this phone is tht wen u drop it it says plaese insert sim card.i dropped yesterday and it just wudn't get netwrk. im hoping to get a 6230i soon. i rate the 6230i a 9.9

venky I went for 3120 6 months back. problems :
1)Low sound quality. 2)keypad is not convenient for elders. 3)Suddenly starts hanging and swithsh off. 4) HCL servece centre worked with this for 15 days and return in the same condition. 5) now planning to go for other phone. 6) There is voice recorder feature in the website , but you should contact Einstein to know the process. 7) service in india perticulatrly in chennai( HCL infinit) is worst( i don't have the other words)rather than the quality of the product. 8) Serveice centre guys feel like they are dealing with time machine and satelites.
Mihir Patel i know that there is inbuilt modem in nokia 3120.i have DKU-5 cable,but i m not able to connet to internet by nokia-3120.what is the problem?

george I bought a Nokia 3120 last week and I really love this phone. It is a lovely basic phone with a good design and a very good battery.
But, I have some problems regarding the connectivity to the PC. I have the Connectivity Adapter Cable DKU-5; I have installed cable drivers and the software for Nokia PC Suite. When I connect the cable to the USB port of the PC and the other end of the cable to the 3120, I start from Nokia PC Suite to click on Get connected. A message appears: the telephone is connected to the PC. I am trying to Create wallpapers. I select an image (of size 4 KB, for example) and next I select Wallpaper and when I try to update to phone, it writes: Updating to phone failed. And I can say that this is the message appearing in all the other applications I try to do. No transfer can be made to or from the phone.
What happens ? Can you help me, please ?
