Kelvin All the citicism of Nokia 1112 that is voiced here, is written in a 6th grade language! What a shame!
THE ONLY NORMAL NOKIA PHONES TODAY ARE:
1110 AND 6170.
Monochrome phones without megapixel, games and mp3 garbage are proven to be the most reliable and simple PHONES! 3310 (american version 3390), 6310i, and few other Nokias have been the best Nokia Phones!
Get out of the 6th grade-you megapixel fools, and then speak!
<unknown> good descent phone with good ergonomics and standard features.what else would we need in a cell phone which is used mainly for communicating through voice or sms.3g phones seems boring after u have used it for a period of time.at the end of the day u will use cell only for talking or sms purpose.

grant I have 1110 and have compared it with 1112 - they are just the same in everything - this is pure waste of time
Andreas I want this phone, badly! Not because it is good, but because it has the only features I have ever used in mobile phones - at the best price.
Currently, I own a Samsung D600, and while it is cool and flashy and a good gadget overall it costs a whole lot of money and it is wasted value to me. I don't take photos with it, since I use my digital camera for that. I also don't listen to MP3s since my iPod plays my music. All surfing, e-mailing and calendar/addressbook stuff (and playing games as well) is handled with my laptop.
My mobile phone is used only to call people, and recieve calls from others. And Nokia 1112 is a phone that uses technology that has worked well for just that - for more than five years now. As long as the technical quality is what I expect, this should be the perfect phone for me.
So why do I like it so much? Simply because the price is right! That's the Ultimate Selling Point. This phone is worth its price, with ease. If it is what you need, of course. I'm going to pick one up when the next paycheck arrives. In fact, I'll probably pick up two phones and give one to my father (who doesn't like advanced and hard-to-learn technicalities).
And I used to say I would never again buy a Nokia after the huge amounts of problems I had with the 6630 a few years ago... =D
Joel Nokia 1112 is an excellent phone..the polyphonic ringtones sound better than very advanced phones...it's almost better than my 6610, except that screen size is too small...the limiting feature is no data cable support, so u can't add more polyphonic tones, only monophonics!

Wasiim To all those colour phone lover, not everyone like to use coloured phone...id use many Nokia mobiles, Motorolla, S.Ericson, 02, Samsung..but i prefer to use a Monochrome one...In some way a mono is better,it looks a bit different like z others. I prefer to use 5210, 1110, 1112..
