fone dude and you might have good luck using t-mobile with this phone. i use a chinese sony T630 and it works on t-mo.

fone dude nope. it won't work in the US. Cingular is 850, t-mobile is 1900. this phone uses GSM 900/1800 which is neither.
NEC should make this for north america! i would buy one! seriously!
