Dan Big bulky Man-Phone. Battery life's a joke! Functions are great, but can't activate infa-red. Does this phone have bluetooth? Anyone able to help, please?!

well the guys who are complaining about the weight they better consider it as a PDA instead of a mobile phone..

Danne In Sweden the phone contains irda and bluetooth hardware, but they are not activated in the firmware. The phone are locked to 3G-provider and Motorola refuses to help out. But the battery time are terrible, (not in the range of specs. from Motorola). It looks like it lasts longer in the 2G-net, which indicates that it's the 3G-services that shortens the standby-time. But it's big and very heavy,if you compare with Ericsson p900. The phone are also very slow when starting up and changing net.
A bigger battery should be released soon, but it's much bigger, so you have to replace your back-cover.
I recommend you to wait for a while for the next generation of 3G-phones, also because many of the services in the 3G-system works lousy or are not implemented yet.

SSyar hey battery is very poor... only work for 4 hrs in use on not in use... and how to activate Blue tooth i know the opinion of some to go to maket to the latest software but.. is there an option to make it from web so wont go out side..
