Garret Hello, I just bought this phone and can't send MMS messages and can't download the file when I recieve them. What do I need to do to get this to work. Please help!
ABHI hey GAURAV, im too planning to buy this cell..i reside in mangalore(karnataka, india) and had went to a local cell dealer..he said me..they have no stock of this beauty..i was disappionted at that time...but after that he called his main dealer..and he said he has one piece..im was glad to here that..and it costs Rs.13,900/- here..im buying this within tuesday or so... i had the earlier model, i.e A760..which battery back-up and network reception was great..but only problem with that cell was i had no patiance to write the text messages with that pen...it would take so long time...so i sold it.. but now this cell comes with a key pad too..but i dont know whether i can use the key pads to type the text messages...and does it have T9 like the nokia..pls help me out guys...i need this beauty..pls anybody relply soon...who owns this beauty...thanks a lot...

herm well put SaxMan. 1 thing. I changed the brightness to 80% and my battery was dying pretty fast so I changed back to 50%
edges Is it possible to open gmail accounts as i am able to open yahoo mail.....can i enter any text into excel.powerpoint,word like office applications and save the same in the phone but no to sync with the PC.....there must be some alternative to the microsoft office for linux phones......please help

aj guys some answers here for yr questions...
1)it's true that if yr cell came in a gold box then srry no edge but if in a silver box...u r a lucky guy.
2)A780 these days comes with opera mini inbuilt
3)yes u can change yr alarm tone by goin to settings> ringer style ALERTS browse there to change.
4)the pda done read u,yr messeges.
5)check out (mobile movie converter for motorola) to convert videos ,of any length, really compress it and watch in on yr cell.
6)go to phone book and then to the setup to set the contacts as per the surnames or the first name.
now i need some answer ....plzzz
1) what is VPN (It's an icon in the menu by certicom),where and y is it used.
2)with the flap closed, how do i send my messege to multiple recipients, because when u press the rocker switch, u can get to the recipients, but after u select one of them and then scroll again and select the 2nd recipient the 1st address disapears. the messeges always reach the recipent whose name is seen currently on the recipent's bar......help can send messeges to multiple ppl with one go, with the flap close.
