luke hi i have an lg 8180 and i have problems syncronising it it says that sync failed and to check the com port
Sammy I recently brought a LG U8180. I was please with what i paid for. The camera takes clear pics and the video camera is not bad. It took me a while to find out how to put mp3 songs onto it, but i finally found out. It has some really good features, i like the external screen and how big and clear the screenis inside. It takes a while to learn all the functions but it is a great phone all up.

mini-me Mobile phone isn't bad,only it stinks - it has pretty good features,but there are problems with conecting it to a PC , it shuts dow by himself,and constantly losing network,fedback of keyboard is sloooow and so is the screen ... it has many tehnical gaps and problems that needs to bee done ...
I will not tollerate this problems,I'm the man who wants to have it all !!
hkphatz Does anyone know how to transfer items via USB cable? And is it possible to send files via infrared from other model phones because I am having trouble with this.If anyone can help than your help is much appreciated.

hany Yes I have the same problem with the IrDa when I try to send some file via IrDa it doesn't send it!I've tryed to send from Sony Ericsson , Nokia

To change the caller id go to settings and go to send my number 2 and its will come on

Jayden Hi im Jayden Im 16 and i have had a Lg U8180 for about a year now and i don't really like it because infrared doesn't work i tried to send a photo of my aunties nokia 6101 to it and the phone agent thing came up but it took about a hour to try and send and it didn't work and if anyone wants to know how to hook your u8180 up to your computer with your usb cord this is how u do it ok- U plug the usb side into the computer the other side into the bottom of your phone then it will say found new hardware then u click a box will come up saying please insert a cd with software which is the lg phone agent program,and then once u have installed that the com port sets itself up then the computer should reconnze your phone then u click connect in the Lg ohone agent and all your images,audios,videos and voice recordings should come up then u can either transfer them of your phone on to your computer just copy and paste and u transfer stuff on to your phone cheers jayden......
