Qamar Bukhari You need a supersonic concorde of all PDAs ??? PDA2 is the answer. I am using it for the last couple of months. I have also experienced JAM, KJAM, PDA2k and Black JAM since my friends and brother have these. But nothing can touch PDA2 power. Camera is typical Imate nonsense, all rest if fine.
Ali I think that this PDA is infact nice for people who are always on the move and need to stay connected.
However, the battery life is very short if you work on WLAN etc due to bigger screen etc.
Overall, above expectations.
Asif I think any one who is thinking to buy a brand new pda should preffer this over PDA2K.bec
1-it has 1.3 mega pixel camera
2-Faster Processor
3-Its weight is 190g and PDA2K is 210g.
4-It uses the same accessories as Pocket pc .
Asif XDA IIi is From O2 and PDA2 is from Imate.The only difference is the design of the skin and XDA IIi has 96MB ROM and PDA2 has 128 MB ROM .Else both devices have same specs.If any one buying a new PDA i would suggest he suold buy PDA2 from i-mate
HandyDad It is my understanding (through scanning the pocket pc sites) the i-mate is much more stable due to their ROM. Hope this helps.
Yaw Prempeh I like the PDA2 very well. My only problem with the PDA2 is that, I cannot get the photo call function to work. The procedure in the manual cannot be found in the PDA2 device itself. I need help!!!!
Also, it would be nice to add the electronic bible software and the Koran to the device. That would truly make the device unique.
Ali Ahad In my opinion, it is one of the best devices that can provide internet on the go.
Speed is good and there are range of applications that enhance the productivity of the user.
daniel i have had this device for about a month after considerable research, and having used and discarded( currently trying to ebay )an i-mate jasjar, i-mate jam 128mb version, ipaq 6515, verizon 6600.
for me as a doctor my needs are a stable os (wm 5.0 is very UNSTABLE), plenty of on board ram to load 3rd party software, decent camera, wifi, good screen, speakerphone, regular sd slot, relatively small and lightweight......and at this point i went back to wm 2003 se because of the aforementioned, and it has delivered in excellent fashion.
until a form factor such as the jasjar comes out with a verifiable stable os , i hope to keep this solid, reliable pda-phone.
H (accountant) i choosed pda2 because i needed a fast processor to get work done,and i'm really enjoying this feature,with this fast processor u can make work as easy as on ur pc.
however i felt normal windows problems like in the pc, program craches, freezes,and a little bit of a battery problem.
however all of these problems are okay when it works well and make u enjoy it.
overall, this pda is great, but don't expect it to be perfect :-)
Bert I seems that when I use MSN Messenger I'm charged with SMS payments from my TEL company is this true?! but I'm also connected to the internet so that should be double!!
I've used SKYPE that's great!!!! email, MMS, text configurations is not so easy!!
