i-mate JASJAR Cell Phone Reviews
Allie I had an i-mate JAM which had its days,time for upgrading now.I liked the fax facility,viz.KSE Truefax 2.0. and mobile windows very much.The only problem I had was using the modem to dial up from my laptop and desktop.Now I need something better,faster and more updated and advanced.Should I consider again an i-mate,which model or should I go for the Nokia N80?Please recommend or any other.

its a nice phone with very good reception,camera ,video result,ms world,nice lcd,hi speed wifi,greate to have this phone..if u doctor or engineer,or businessman prepare ur presentations on this greate phone,nice glamorous phone with every function u ever desire...its smal pc on the move..dont even hesitate to buy this greate machine...have a nice time
Andras it has memory 64 MB RAM and 128 MB ROM.
it has keyborad light.
rey I bought a Dopod 900. it has the same platform as the imate jasjar.the only problem was the battery life.so far I have been using it for months now the most serious problem that I have encounter so far is the phone does hang/crash once in a while.
well those who wants skype could download it at skype website. and for those who wants msn/icq/google/yahoo could download agile messenger.
overall its a nice phone for daily use =)

I have had a JASJAR for several months. Check your memory consumption, especially if you have been connecting to the Internet a lot. Clear your history and via the Internet Explorer memory > tools > options > memory. Clear files and history to free memory.
Another common problem is accidently recording voice by pressing the record key on the side. It is easy to create files of >10Mb without realising it.
And don't forget the images with the camera are quite large. I got around the above by clearing the IE cache regularly & adding a 2Gb SD card.

pico i bought a JASJAR two weeks ago and I found a lote of problem i don'texpected :
1- battery is very boor and this kind for mobile made for business man so we should cary charger all the time
2- i usally charge my mobile near to my bed so i start feel very pain in my head me and my wife so i need answer regarding the sigenal is dengreuse .
3- evertime i reset the mobile antiviruseve let the divise so slow .
4- i don't have any sotware for fax matching with this model and this is very important for me becaue i had it in ex. mobile so how this mobile design for business without fax.
i don't want to be upset so if u have an answer please advise
Robert well i've had this phone for about 4 months now, i love it. internal memory is lacking however with transcend making 4GB SD cards it is expandable substantially. the touch screen is responsive, the colors are crisp and the resolution (VGA 640X480) is beautiful. This phone has one drawback, it is a triband phone designed for europe. so reception with Cingular is lacking (no 850 mhz band/ which Cingular coverage is primarily). also the UMTS isnt suported by Cingular as it uses a global 2100 band and Cingular built on AT&T's 1900 so high speed internet won't be usuable with cingular. However if you are a T-Mobile customer, then i recommend this as T-Mobile uses the 1900 frequency primarily. also July 2006 T-Mobile will be bidding on the UMTS 2100 Mhz band which this phone supports) also this phone comes with Skype VIOP software built in, and a virus scanner provided by I-Mate.
harsh Imate is a very good phone..i've been using it since 1.5 months, i change my mobile phone very often within 10-15 days till date i have used about 57 handsets. But i m really satisfied with JASJAR..i don't see any reason to change this and buy a new one.
Boroladcraig I have just recently purchased The JAMJAR on orange UK ( Also called SPV M5000)I am having problems connecting to the Pocket MSN. Its connecting to "Orange GPRS internet" but then comes up with an error message, saying "login failed because service is not responding".
Any ideas on how i can correct this?
