den it isthe best phone i have ever had who cares if it doesnt have a camera. i mean what is the point of a phone. the point is to make and recieve calls and that is what it does. i would rate this phone a big 10/10!!!
Don I bought this phone from Orange, and it is ideal for my needs. Only one problem - when accessing the directory it says "Phone busy" and does not work. I phoned Orange and they say this is a known fault with this and some other Alcatel phones. Apparently Orange are waiting for Alcatel to fix this problem, but allegedly Alcatel cannot say how long before this problem will be fixed.
I'm a bit dissapointed that a good simple phone is let down by a probable software fault, and am also dissapointed that the company responsible cannot say how long before it will be fixed. So far my work-around is to group the directory numbers into the Family section and only use this as the directory. If anyone else has a better work-around or fix please post it here. I emailed the makers of the phone listed in the manual(www.tcl-ta.com), they emailed me back with a telephone number to call, but its always busy.

David got the phone for christmas, a great phone and easy to use. I think i saw this question floating about and I would just like to reply saying that the phone does CANNOT download any ringtones. A great phone anyway 10/10
